TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -
Tucson has some of the best air quality, according to a report from Honeywell, a company that makes air cleaners.

They studied cities based on pollen counts, public smoking laws, particulate matter and other factors. Three cities in Florida took the top three spots, with Tucson coming in fifth, right behind Honolulu.

Researchers say that the results are beneficial, especially to those with breathing problems.

Since I've been on several sites to see where I can move OUT OF ARIZONA, I'm always amazed to see Arizona listed as a great place to retire:
http://money.cnn.com/magazines/moneymag/bpretire/2006/states/AZ.html

Arizona locations are mentioned all the time in listings like this. Go figure.

Even if it's Prescott, I'd stay out of the Southwest altogether if I knew that I could possibly get this ugly disease and lose my lung lobe. Retirement years are awful once you get this, and I WAS HEALTHY. It's criminal.

By the way, what interest would an air cleaner company in directing people to "clean air" locations???
