A friend of mine just received a diagnosis of VF for his Dog. The dog had developed infection of the anal sacs and also a "mass" in the abdomen somewhere. The blood test showed Valley fever and the surgery was successful. The vet said the mass was not cancer but was related to the valley fever. The dog is recovering nicely now and on fluconazol meds.
